The owners of Quiet Comfort Cabins assure you a hearty welcome. We will be pleased to assist you to enjoy the recreational activities of this great north country.

The resort consists of 7 housekeeping cabins, each built right on the water's edge and affording a wonderful view of Lost Lake. 

There are no steep banks or hills from your cabin to the lake. Located on the north shore of Lost Lake, the resort is only 4 -5 feet above lake level. This is one of our most valued advantages. 

Our property is extensive, so we are able to space our cabins far apart. Each is surrounded by beautiful white birch and pine.  And there is the 'not too close to the neighbors' feeling one finds in resorts having less lake space.

Each cabin is a typical summer home, having a private pier and aluminum boat directly in front.

All cabins are strictly modern with large screened porches and windows, comfortable beds and innerspring mattresses. They are completely equipped for housekeeping and are neat and clean.

All cabins have a bedroom with twin beds except Lakeview. All other beds are double or queen size.
Bayview is a deluxe, air-conditioned, vacation duplex located a half-mile from the resort in a private and secluded setting.  Bayview is for those who desire privacy and want to be away from the busy resort atmosphere.  There is a fireplace, large sun deck, cable TV and 4 large picture windows overlooking the lake.  No smoking allowed in this unit.  Bed linens and towels are furnished. Eagle Haven is the original owner's home that has been converted to a rental unit. It has 2 full baths, a sun deck and 4 bedrooms.  Bed linens are furnished but bring your own towels. Eagle Haven is a non-smoking unit and is available year-round.
Northern Comfort I is a brand new four bedroom vacation home with an additional one bedroom efficiency apartment (Northern Comfort II) on the second story.  In addition to all the comforts of home, Northern Comfort I has a fireplace, sunroom, and patio deck facing the lake.  Both these units are air conditioned and have cable TV. All bed linens are included, but bring your own towels.  The Northern Comfort units are available year-round and are both non-smoking units.  There are no off-season discounts on Northern Comfort II when rented by itself.
All cabins have TVs, microwave ovens, private showers, hot and cold water, inside toilets, automatic gas heating furnaces, gas ranges and ovens, and large refrigerator/freezers.

All cabins are completely furnished with good blankets, pillows, and necessary kitchen utensils and dishes.
We have available for rent a new 20-foot Misty Harbor Pontoon Boat.  This boat comes fully equipped with a 50 horsepower motor, plush lounge-type seating, snack table, retractable canopy, two swivel fishing seats on the front deck, and a built-in entry ladder.  It's great for cruising the lake, fishing, tubing, or just picnicking on the water.  It rents for $600 per week or $140 per day (plus gas).  A tube rents for $20/day, $60/week.  Call ahead to reserve weekly rentals--daily rentals are only taken after you arrive at our resort.

There is a 30% reduction in weekly spring and fall rates before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

There is a 15% reduction in weekly rates during the first three weeks after Memorial Day and the two weeks preceding Labor Day.

Above prices are subject to state and local taxes.
 
  • Eagle Haven and Northern Comfort are available year-round. Winter rates (November - March) for these units are the same as above listed summer rates.
  • If Northern Comfort I and II are rented together, a $150 discount will be applied.
  • All other units are open May - September.

  • Bed linens and towels are not furnished except where noted above. Bed linens will be furnished at $5.00 per bed, per week upon request.
  • Extra Persons above normal capacity will be accommodated at $7.00 per day, $30.00 per week, with prior approval of management.
  • A Deposit of $200.00 for each week's reservation is required.
  • All Cabin summer rentals start at Saturday 2 p.m. and end on Saturday at 9 a.m.
  • Outboard Motors - Johnson 6 h.p. motors at $75.00 per week plus gas. 8 h.p. motors are $85.00 plus gas.
  • Each unit includes the use of a 14' aluminum boat. Extra Boats or Canoes are for rent at $30.00 per week.
  • Paddleboats and Kayaks are now available for rent at $30.00 per week.
  • Credit cards are not accepted, but we do take personal checks, cash, or bank checks.
  • Babies stay free--all others are counted when determining cabin capacities.
